Green Wave Project

Greenwave is a mass experiment examining how the green waves moves across Ireland in the Spring.

As part of our Green Wave project 2013 we monitored sightings of the Ash, Hawthorn, Horse Chestnut trees and the Primrose. We kept an eye out for the appearance of the Swallow. We observed primroses on our trip to Ailwee caves last year. We contribute our findings to the Green Wave Web Site on a regular basis where they are mapped and analysed. We can see if spring moves from south to north across Ireland or inland from coast to centre.

As we are now in Spring 2014 we have begun the process of watching out for the same signs of Spring as what we found last year!
