We were very lucky to have Lorraine O’Donnell from Inland Fisheries Ireland to come and visit us in our school. Lorraine told the children in the senior room about the life cycle of the salmon and the eel. She discussed the importance of biodiversity and is going to take us on a trip to a local river! This programme is part of Something Fishy.
