On Thursday morning, March 16th “The Bumbleance” will be paying a visit to our school at 9.15am to show the children the inside of the Bumbleance ambulance. Bumbleance are a charity organisation set up by the ‘Saoirse’ Foundation. They provide stress-reducing journeys for children in state-of-the-art ambulances. They provide service to the sick children of Ireland, both from rural and urban areas, who are long term sick and/or seriously disabled, who need professional ambulance transport services. They cater for their every need en route to and from the principal centres of care.
If you know anyone in the locality who would like to come to the school on the morning to look at the ambulance and/or make a donation they are more than welcome.
